Weng Xiang Plastic Sdn Bhd was founded in 1997 by Vincent Lim, who left a career in banking to pursue a simple belief: that quality matters in every detail — even the straw in your drink.

What began as a three-person operation with a single production line has grown steadily through nearly three decades of dedicated work. Today, Weng Xiang operates multiple production lines with a workforce of up to 20 people and the capacity to produce up to 60 million straws per month.

Over the years, we have expanded from traditional roll-packed straws into auto-packed, individually wrapped, and specialty products — consistently investing in automation to deliver better quality and reliability to our customers.

Our products reach every corner of Malaysia — and beyond — through a trusted network of distributors and direct partnerships. We are proud to supply the market under our own Twin Dolphins® brand, a name that has become synonymous with consistent quality in the Malaysian drinking straw industry.

Now, we are taking the next step. By incorporating Polymateria’s biotransformation technology, we are introducing a new generation of biodegradable straws — products that perform like conventional straws but are designed to fully biodegrade in the natural environment, leaving no microplastics behind.
